Yep!! It has started!! Llewellins are descending upon us here in the Catskills!! Yay!! On December 1st I flew back out to Michigan to pick up Widget and look at properties with a fantastic guy, who is the best resource in the whole U.P. as far as I’m concerned!! Jim Hammill, retired wildlife biologist for the DNR for Michigan. Another pup that I really liked quite a bit was still there and not picked!! I was perplexed by this and Michelle was surprised too!! I decided on the spot that I’d take her too!! After all the whole pack back home would like just be growling at the puppy energy all the time so Widget was going to need a playmate on hand, right?! Not to mention from a breeding stand point, always good not to put all your eggs in one basket (one pup in this case), so sold! To the dog nut in NY!! These dogs are just the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet!! It was a good decision bring Widget’s sister home. Her litter name was Sage. I liked that name a lot but being a dog trainer and knowing so many dogs named Sage that just couldn’t stay such. I’m known for having great dog names (not just great dogs…haha) so after a few days I found comfort in the name Pixel. Widget and Pixel I call them my techy girls.
