Paint River updates will be much more frequent

To all Paint River enthusiasts, as you well know, the second half of the year is usually the busier time for us bird dog lovers….. it’s time for training and conditioning of our beloved canine athletes for the start of our Sept/Oct. bird hunting seasons. So stay tuned for some great photos of all the Paint River Llews in the weeks and months ahead. Also please pass the word around to all your bird dog loving hunting buddies that our next breeding will most likely be happening in September with Pixel and Duncan. So if nature permits that means pups born late November… time flies so all serious family hunting dog lovers speak up!! There are three paid reservations on this litter already. We may not breed Widget this next heat cycle unless Pixel’s breeding does not take. So stay tuned for all the fun!!!

A January hunt for Paint River llews

These Llewellin Setters deserve far better bird country than they have been stuck with lately….. it’s a down year for grouse and considering we are not in grouse heaven to begin with it’s been long hard hours with not much paycheck for all that labor. Today I decided to bring some pigeons along for the ride in case we got skunked on grouse— we did so at least they got a little action on our remote launcher pigeons. Some beautiful points below of my trio.

Paint River’s Spark Plug has moved south!!

My adorable little Spark Plug has moved south to quail country….. this was a very hard pup to let go of….. reminds me so much of her mom— Widget. Super little girl!! We drove down to New York City to meet her lovely new mom, Lauren at LGA airport so Spark Plug could fly to Texas in the cabin with her mom. Here is a photos of Spark Plug— one with her new momma and another of her checking out the view from the truck on the way down to the big city.

Olympus from The Cameras Litter is available!! Last Llewellin Setter puppy available until winter of 2014!!!!!

Good Morning everyone!!!

Olympus from the Cameras Litter was returned to us after a few days with his new loving home…. his new parents adored him so much but unfortunately his new mom was very allergic and after a strong effort they decided it was best to return him so he could find a new home early in life. I have posted a few current photos of him and a two minute video of him playing with his mother. Please email me if you are seriously interested.
