Widget has been bred to Chippewa pups due mid February
Widget is in heat now
The one, the only Paint River’s Widget Levi is in heat and will be bred in 7-10 days. Possibly to Chippewa with our good old boy, Duncan as a back up plan. We had wanted to use one of our approved outside studs but given logistics in time and travel it’s proving difficult. One way or another this PRL superstar will be bred soon. New additions at PRL
These three boys are full brother to Missy and Stella. Two will be sold in the future.
Pixel pups are here!
Pixel had her pups this morning. Six total all born breech and doing well. We will update you will litter theme and names once determined. This litter is all sold.
Pixel is due within a week. Stay tuned for update!
Pixel by Chippewa litter is due late next week. We are excited for this new breeding. Hopping for a healthy litter. Pixel is an old pro.
A grouse dog to be proud of
Duncan is a dog to which a standard has been set. He’s a natural at everything and the best grouse dog I’ve ever seen. In sync with the hunter, great nose, cautious in trace amounts of scent, terrific tracker, like a ninja on his feet…. a dream dog in the northwoods. Blessed.

Both these PRL girls will be having pups this fall/winter. Pixel is due around November 7th and Omiimii should come into heat sometime between February and March.
PRL update from the UP
As we start our second week of hunting we’ve put on the miles every day and the dog work has been nothing short of terrific! Here are a bunch of photos to share in the experience!
