These three boys are full brother to Missy and Stella. Two will be sold in the future.

Pixel had her pups this morning. Six total all born breech and doing well. We will update you will litter theme and names once determined. This litter is all sold.
Pixel by Chippewa litter is due late next week. We are excited for this new breeding. Hopping for a healthy litter. Pixel is an old pro.
Duncan is a dog to which a standard has been set. He’s a natural at everything and the best grouse dog I’ve ever seen. In sync with the hunter, great nose, cautious in trace amounts of scent, terrific tracker, like a ninja on his feet…. a dream dog in the northwoods. Blessed.
As we start our second week of hunting we’ve put on the miles every day and the dog work has been nothing short of terrific! Here are a bunch of photos to share in the experience!
We are getting the dogs out for short runs. Here’s Missy with her first bird retrieve. Great job! Shot a double over her on her first bagged birds!
#birddogoftheday has over 100,000 followers! We are thrilled that Paint River’s Duncan Levi received the honor of being #birddogoftheday with this photo.
Paint River’s Pixel Levi has bred to Paint River’s Chippewa Levi. Providing breeding takes the due date is early November. Pups go home early January. We are still taking three male reservations at this time. ALL info is on our website: pricing, health guarantee, picking, shipping and more. http://www.paintriverllewellins.com If interested please fill out our puppy application on the Available Puppies page.
One of my all-time favorite hunting photos. 2013, a young Pixel at 50 days pregnant, pointing a ruffed grouse on our UP property. She is wearing her pups and war paint in this photo in all her glory. Love this girl. This week she has been bred to Chippewa, updates to come on that news in several days.
We will be breeding Pixel and if all goes well we will have pups on the ground early November and ready to go early January.
