Hi PRL fans! Well we have 4 of 5 litters on the ground for this breeding season now. Here they are. Still working on litter themes. Soon to be announced on Facebook.
Widget had 4 pups. 2 males and 2 females.
Missy had 6 pups. 4 males and 2 females.
Omiimii had 11 pups. 5 males and 6 females.
Pixel had 8 pups. 2 males and 6 females.
It’s been an extra busy week and a half here at PRL! Widget, Missy and Omiimii have had their pups! All doing well at this point. Pixel is due within the week or so. That will then give us a bit of a break from whelping as Stella is the only female remaining this breeding season to have pups. She has not come into heat yet. With four litters soon to be on the ground that certainly should keep us busy! Stay tuned for litter theme announcements and Pixel pups arrival.
This week both Missy and Widget have been bred by Duncan. Pups due mid November.

A much anticipated litter, Widget by Chippewa is due February 16th. We look forward to this pairing.
The one, the only Paint River’s Widget Levi is in heat and will be bred in 7-10 days. Possibly to Chippewa with our good old boy, Duncan as a back up plan. We had wanted to use one of our approved outside studs but given logistics in time and travel it’s proving difficult. One way or another this PRL superstar will be bred soon. As we start our second week of hunting we’ve put on the miles every day and the dog work has been nothing short of terrific! Here are a bunch of photos to share in the experience!

Here are the Superheros litter! Well, five of them anyway! Batman, Spiderman, Wonderwoman, Super Girl and Captain America from left to right. Five weeks old yesterday!
If you’re looking for a pup with fantastic grouse dog potential look no further! This Widget by Duncan breeding is a third time repeat breeding that has time and time again produced excellent bird dogs. These are two of my very best hunters and producers!
